Zhenya Yanovich is a child artist from Siberia. He moved to the United States in 1995 in order to be treated for complications of spina bifida. His experience is an inspiring one and can be found as one of a number of stories in Bouquets of Bitterroots, written by his American guardian, Betty Lou Leaver, and illustrated by Zhenya himself. As a young teenager in Siberia, he also published a book, called For the Very Littlest
